Physical Characteristics of Beagle Dogs
Beagle Dog (Definite Introduction)

Beagles are native to the United Kingdom, and are mostly around 16 inches (41 cm) in size. In the British dog show, if a beagle exceeds 16 inches, it will be disqualified. Beagles were introduced to the United States for development and training in the mid-19th century. Most of the beagles improved by the United States did not exceed 15 inches (approximately 38 cm), and most remained around 13 inches (33 cm). And in the American dog show, if the participating beagles exceed this standard, they will lose their qualifications.
Physical characteristics
Because Beagles are similar to Basset Hounds, and are full of unscrupulous dog dealers, Beagles are often bred with other dog breeds and claim to be authentic. Beagles have caused many people to be killed by raising their prices. Therefore, the American Kennel Club and the American Beagle Club have specially formulated many distinguishing characteristics of beagles to facilitate people's future identification.
Drop ears: It can be said to be the biggest characteristic and selling point of the Beagle. The Beagle's ears must not be longer than the nose, and the lower edges of the ears are round and wide. The three primary colors are yellow, black and white.
Yellow: Spreads on the head, ears, upper parts of hands and feet, and the lower part of tail.
Black: Mainly on the back and also the biggest sign to quickly identify whether it is a beagle.
White: White is often exaggerated, because the black back is usually used to distinguish other methods, which has become impractical with the changes of the times. A standard Beagle must have "seven whites", that is, the front of the nose, neck, the upper part of the hands and feet, and the top of the tail must be white. Because the hands and feet of Beagles are white, there is also a saying that "Beagles wear white socks".
Size: Approximately between 13 inches and 15 inches, a standard medium-sized dog.
Physique: The abdomen should feel strong and fleshy to the touch.
Tail: Unless a beagle is sick, hungry or in a bad mood, its tail is almost always turned up, and the curvature of its tail is like a sharp sickle.
