How long does a dog sleep-

Dog Placement What is the time
Shar-Pei (certain introduction)

We may find that dogs spend a large part of their time besides eating, drinking and playing. They all have the same thing in mind, that is, arrangements, and they always give people the feeling of never being able to wake up. Obviously they have slept for a long time at dusk, but they also spent a considerable part of their time sleeping during the day, so why do they like to sleep so much, and how much time do dogs spend sleeping?

Pet dogs of different ages have different placement times. Like the newly born dog, it sleeps basically every day and can sleep for 22 hours a day, while the remaining 2 hours are spent sleeping, drinking milk, peeing, and defecating. As the pet dog grows up, it will gradually open its eyes and start normal behavior. Naturally, the time for daily planning will gradually decrease. Of course, after the dog grows up, it can spend more than 15 hours a day.

However, it is worth noting that dog placement can also be divided into deep placement and shallow placement. When the dog is actually resting, his whole body is very relaxed. Sometimes his legs are in the air, and sometimes he sighs. When the dog is resting lightly, the dog appears to be resting, but it is easily awakened. If there is any movement in the environment, it will immediately open its eyes, and then carefully observe and listen. For pet dogs, only the actual sleeping time can be regarded as the dog sleeping. According to scientific analysis, dogs spend a greater part of their time in shallow accommodation, and spend relatively little time in deep accommodation.

This shows that the placement time of dogs is indeed relatively long. They almost spend more than half of the time in placement every day. Naturally, most of the time they are in a shallow placement state, so we might as well do it during this period. Add some recreational activities to them during the time, so that they don't feel so bored and make their life more interesting.
