1. Living habits
The Brazilian turtle is an aquatic turtle with strong ability to adapt to the environment. It likes quiet and is afraid of noise, likes to be clean and afraid of being dirty, and likes warmth. 3. Growth characteristics
Western turtles grow faster. According to reports, hatchlings weighing 6 grams can survive in peace. After being raised in a water body of 30 degrees for 38 days, the body weight can reach 50-60 grams. They are transferred to outdoor natural water bodies in early May. 4. Growth habits
Under natural conditions, the sexual maturity age of Brazilian turtles is generally 4-5 years old. Some of them were artificially heated and raised, and their bodies became heavier when they were 2 years old, but they still failed to lay eggs. In the Yangtze River Basin, the growth period is from May to September, and the spawning period is around the summer solstice. It can lay 3-4 eggs a year, with 3-19 eggs being laid frequently.
